Breckflix in 2021

In December 2020, Breckflix turned one! Though I like to joke about the fives of fans who keep up with my blog, I do really want to thank you for your readership. All kidding aside, I have tens of awesome fans, and I do this for you.

During Breckflix’s first year, I tinkered with the blog’s style, found my footing, and had the chance to review plenty of new releases, as well as revisiting things I’ve missed. At the end of the year, I got to try something new with the Christmas Countdown, where I watched one Christmas movie each day for the first 25 days of December. I had so much fun writing and seeing my readership increase – Breckflix had over 500 views during the Christmas Countdown! (*flips scarf and twirls*)

Due to popularity of my seasonal adventure, I’ve decided to continue down the countdown path. This year, I will be posting about film series and seasonal choices using the Christmas Countdown format. Now, that doesn’t mean I’m hanging up my hat with new releases (see: my A+ review of Promising Young Woman). This year will just feature a mix of new release reviews and countdowns.

This brings us to my next project: Watching the Wizards! Join me as I journey through the ten films in the Harry Potter franchise (yes, even those two newer ones you forgot existed). Come back next week for my review of Harry Potter and the Philosorcerphor’s Stone!

Because I’m young and hip, this year will also see the debut of @breckflix on Tik Tok, where I’ll run-down my post-screening snippets and the final tea in video form!

Thank you so much for being a part of The Breckfast Club! That’s all for now, grandpappy’s gotta go learn how to Tik Tok…
