Welcome to Breckflix!

Like all people who enjoy spending time with their friends in silence, I love going to the movies. My name is Brecken Hunter and welcome to Breckflix! I have finally found a way to combine my two passions: film criticism and finding reasons why I’m too busy to exercise. On this blog, I post weekly reviews of new movies. I have a Master of Arts in Critical Media Studies so you should believe everything I write. All seriousness aside, this blog would best be described as “academic zero sugar” – I may pull in some scholarship, but I’m mostly just reviewing on first watch. If there is one thing we are all sorely lacking, it’s time, so know that I sincerely thank you for taking the time to read.
